If you are a Tennessee resident, all proceeds from your purchase of Opry memorabilia on jtvauctions.com will be donated to the Opry Trust Fund, and if you are not a Tennessee resident, all proceeds from your purchase of such memorabilia will be donated to the CMA Foundation.
Opry Trust Fund, Inc. (Opry Trust)
Established on the Opry's 40th birthday in 1965, the Opry Trust helps those in the country music industry with financial assistance when they need it most. The Opry Trust provides gifts in time of need, emergency, or catastrophe, to entertainers, musicians, or other persons who are, or were at one time, directly associated with and actively employed in the country music field and to organizations or entities which are actively assisting or caring for such persons.
CMA Foundation (CMAF)
Born from the passion of country artists and industry professionals who first fell in love with music in the classroom, the CMAF has been investing in music education since 2006. CMAF focuses on improving and sustaining music education programs everywhere. For the foundation, it's not just about raising up the next generation of musicians. It's also about leveraging the impact that music has on students.
The sale of this auction item will go to support the Back the Beat campaign. If the winning bid is made by a Tennessee resident, 100% of the winning bid amount will be donated to the Opry Trust Fund, Inc. Due to state charitable fundraising laws, if the winning bid is not made by a Tennessee resident, 100% of the winning bid amount will be donated to the CMA Foundation.
